so in '3/7' you slide up from the third fret to the 7th fret
also you play the notes here (and in the chorus) as whole notes
whole notes means it lasts for the whole measure
and the measure is how many counts the time signature has
in this case, because the time signature is 6/8, the whole note lasts 6 counts
basically, hit the notes here (and in chorus) and make it last for 6 counts

then slide up to the 5th fret and play that for 12 counts again
