We may use third-party services for analytics, authentication (such as Google OAuth), and other functionality. These third parties have their own privacy policies and we recommend you review them. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

For analytics we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they use, and which adverts brought them — the last of these is shared with Google Ads so we can stop paying for adverts that do not work. It does not receive your name or email address.

Microsoft Clarity covers the rest. Clarity records how pages are used — clicks, scrolling, navigation and anonymised session playback — and produces heatmaps from it, so we can find parts of the site that are confusing or broken. If you are signed in, we pass Clarity your account ID and username so we can trace a reported problem back to the session it happened in; we never send it your email address, and text you type into forms is masked before it leaves your browser. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement.
