About Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good! : Megadeth was given $8,000 to record and produce its debut album . Band forced to fire their original producer and produce the album by themselves . The band spent half of the album's budget on drugs, alcohol and food . A deluxe edition, completely remixed and remastered with several bonus tracks, was released through Loud Records on February 5, 2002 . The album features the track "Mechanix", a song that frontman Dave Mustaine originally wrote for Metallica . Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson formed Megadeth in Los Angeles . Mustaine was fired from Metallica due to drinking, substance abuse, violent behavior and personality conflicts with James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich . It had a contribution from notable artists like 8,000,Combat. It had an affiliation to bands - Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!,Megadeth. Its music is influenced by genres - thrash metal.
