About Boogiemonsters : Boogiemonsters were composed of Bronx, New York born rapper Mondo McCann, Alaskan native Vex Da Vortex (Sean Pollard) Vex, Myntric and Yodared met in high school in Virginia . They formed a group and began performing together in talent shows . The group won first place at Howard University's Hip-Hop Convention . Yodared and Myntric left the group as both felt that hip hop lifestyle was not in line with their religious convictions . Pendulum Records ceased operation and EMI was the sole record company for their second album, God Sound . Boogiemonsters The group has many notable artists like Mondo McCann,Jamaican-,Myntric,Yodared,Ivor "Al" Myers. Their music is influenced by genres - hip hop.
